Top 10 mistakes most companies make with SharePoint

There are so many mistakes that companies make when implementing SharePoint, that it is very challenging to pick just 10 mistakes. However these ones below are often overlooked. I didn’t go for the obvious ones such as poor governance, not having an intranet strategy, or not having an intranet committee, but focused on those less obvious but all the more hidden pitfalls that can derail a SharePoint project team’s best intentions.

    1. I really like your piece. I look forward to seeing the remainder of the “top 10″.
The issues you cite in relation to SharePoint are very true for all ECM products.

Generally, customers do a poor job of implementation and change management and then blame the technology.

Even though SharePoint is a competitor of ours, I see lots of criticism of SharePoint that I am sure is unfounded.
